Japanese girl is arrested after her shirt goes missing

CHICAGO (AP) A 14-year-old Japanese girl was arrested Monday after her high school’s checker board shirt went missing.

Chizuru Muraoka told a police officer she was “furious” after learning the shirt was missing when she received it Monday morning from her school.

A school official says the shirt is missing, but Muraokas mom says it is missing the correct number.

A man was also arrested Monday for failing to provide necessary identification for a missing checkerboarding shirt.

No other details were released.
