Is it OK to wear an eye patch? A new poll shows a majority of people support it

A new CNN poll shows support for wearing eye patches in public has grown.

A whopping 53% of Americans now say that the government should make it more difficult for people to wear eye patches at work and in public, while 28% say that it should make them easier.

Support for eye patches has increased over time, according to the poll, which also found that the majority of Americans still say that wearing eye masks or face coverings is not acceptable.

The CNN poll found that 53% say people should be able to wear face coverers in public while 28%, the same number, said that the public should be allowed to wear masks.

The CNN/ORC International poll of 1,000 adults was conducted July 25-28, with a margin of error of +/- 3.5%.
